Kanika Bahel

Kanika Bahel is a Project Officer at the University of Surrey’s Global Centre for Clean Air Research (GCARE). She has over nine years’ experience across academia, NGOs, and industry in project management, stakeholder engagement, research communications, and event delivery. Before joining GCARE, she worked as Research and Communications Coordinator at United Kingdom Water Industry Research (UKWIR) and as a Research Associate at the Centre for Science & Environment (CSE). Her work has centred on environmental sustainability, research dissemination, and organizing large-scale conferences and workshops.

Role in GP4Streets
In the GP4Streets project, she coordinates overall project planning and delivery, oversees stakeholder and partner collaboration, manages reporting and financial administration, and leads engagement and dissemination activities, including workshops, events, and communications across digital channels..
