Christopher Pain developed the highly novel AI4PDEs solver for partial differential equations as well as leading the first AI surrogate models for complex fluid problems. He has collaborated on urban flows and pollution dispersion and green infrastructure through the MAGIC and INHALE consortia.

Co-leads AI meta-model development for GBGI performance, co-leads numerical modelling and city-scale upscaling under climate change scenarios, and co-leads GP4Streets research data quality control team.
