Serena Altare is a Research Assistant at the University of Surrey, working under the supervision of Dr Tom Roberts. Her work focuses on public perceptions of green, blue and grey infrastructure in everyday residential environments. She is also a prospective PhD student in Sociology at Surrey, where she plans to study the gendered divisions of unpaid labour in Italian dual‑earner couples with children.
